Meet our Staff...

C&D Diving is the little store with big goals. Our staff wants to introduce as many people as possible to the joy and wonder of the underwater environment. With over 30 years of diving experience and small class size, our staff is able to provide you with the best instruction possible. We will even give private lessons at no additional cost. We simply want to get you in the water. The equipment you will use in your instruction is brand new Scubapro equipment. Each diver will also use a Dive Computer during all in water training.

Denny is a certified SDI Open Water and Solo Diver Instructor, and a TDI Nitrox, Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures Instructor, as well as a PADI Divemaster and Co-Owner of C&D Diving. Denny learned to dive at age 14 in Traverse City, Michigan. When asked where his favorite recreational diving destination is you will probably get 3 distinct answers.
Bonaire ranks number 1 for warm water diving. “It is pretty hard to top Bonaire for ease of diving.
“Vancouver, British Columbia ranks as number 1 for cold water diving”, replies Denny. “The color and animal life is incredible. Most people just don’t realize how colorful the waters of British Columbia are. Fabulous diving!”
For big Animal encounters nothing tops the Galapagos Islands in Denny’s book. “Swimming next to a 40 foot Whale Shark simply takes your breath away.”
Denny is also an avid Cave Diver and active member of the NACD and NSS-CDS. Diving the underwater caves of northern Florida is one of Denny’s greatest passions. “The caves are absolutely beautiful.”

Teresa is a SDI Divemaster and Co-Owner of C&D Diving. Certified in 2001, Teresa is a natural in the water and is working hard to complete her Instructor certification. Teresa also loves diving Bonaire and Vancouver. “They are very different, but both offer a tremendous diversity of animal life”.

Like Denny, Teresa is also an avid Cave Diver and member of the NACD and NSS-CDS. She loves the caves of Florida, and keeping her out of them has become a difficult task.

Steve Parker began his diving career in 1990, realizing that scuba diving offered endless opportunity to explore the underwater world.  Steve started his career in technical diving in 1995, under the expert tutelage of Joe Odom, then International Training Director for Technical Diving International (TDI).  Steve spent the next few years developing his knowledge and skills as a technical diver and instructor.  By 1997 he held the highest ratings in technical diving, Advanced Trimix IT and Full Cave.  Steve is an avid technical diver and instructor and teaches a full spectrum of technical diver and instructor level courses- including Trimix, advanced wreck, Rebreather and various equipment tech courses, just to list a few.  When not teaching, you will find Steve exploring the caves and deep wrecks of the world.  When asked about his passion for the deep- he just smiles and says- “it’s a lot less crowded down there!”  Steve also divides his time with the world of flying, he pilots both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft and holds an instrument pilot rating.  As for getting him to choose a favorite between diving and flying, good luck!

Scott is our resident fill in and all around nice guy.  When not busy minding the store Scott is busy keeping you informed and entertained on this web site.  Scott's specialties include holding students' fins down to the pool bottom during BC removal exercises, rearranging store fixtures, and blowing bubbles out of the bottom of his wetsuit.  He can also count change.
